weather

the weather in iowa is really weird. before winter i heard everybody talking about how cold and hard this winter is going to be. well so far it’s not that bad, no huge ice storms and not that much snow. not as much as last year that is. right now there’s no snow outside and it’s quite nice outside which is good. but i do like the snow just not the freezing cold that gets you numb in days. we had alot of snow last year which i enjoyed. i do hope that it will be like this, this year except for the ice. it really sucks.

actor

man the guy in transporter really kicked some butt. his name is jason statham. he’s in all of the transporter movies and some other ones. this one movie called War he’s a hot headed cop chasing after an assasin who killed his best friend and his family. turns out that the assasin is his friend and at the end he kills jason statham and i have no idea why since he was trying to find who killed his friends. that movie had great special effects and music which plays a big part in movies. and in another movie he pretends to be a good cop but actually runs off with all the money in the end. that usually never happens in movies where the bad guy gets away. i was kinda surprised.

school

we just came back from christmas break. the times i go to sleep and wake up changed drasitcaly. during the break, i usually went to sleep between 3 and 4. one night, new years eve i stayed up the whole night and went to sleep in the morning. school still hasn’t changed, probably never will. some of the classes i can barely stand. there are some easy classes like speech and composition but speech i do not really like because you have to get up in front of the class and present things. that i hate doing. school just flew by. half of it is already over and pretty soon i’ll be a senior, hopefuly.

snow days

wow the person who decides wether or not we should have school makes some bad decisions. today its sno,ing pretty bad. why are  we still in school? its still going too keep snowing and when school gets out it is going to be quite dangerous. especially for the busses. but its all her choice i guess. earlier we had snow and the  next day it eas still kind of slick. i thought we wouldn’t have school but we still did. when we got on the road somebody almost crashed into us from behind because it took so long to pick up speed.

music in movies

i watched no country for old men and realized halfway through the movie that there is no music. i think that without music the movie is kinda boring. pirates of the caribbean has great music! without the music it would be dull and colorless. the music also helps build tension. no country for old mrn does that but barely. you have to listen very carefully to notice it. in action movies they should have music that goes with the flow. horror movies wouldn’t be as scary if they had music. scary music that helps build tension and makes you grab the seat.

how i watch movies

im in this class and it teaches me all these new things about the media. lately, we have been taught to watch for camera angles, how long the shots are and how  many of them. earlier i watched this pathetic and dumb movie called kill switch or something. it was so stupid. there is so many shots that i can barely count them, right when the guy is about to do something the camera switches like 50 times and you dont know what happened, tou just see the other guy hurt. it also does alot of those replay stuff which is really annoying.

the new cars

every year more and more cars are being made. there becoming more and more newer and more futuristic also. i like new cars but i dont like the slow electric gas saving cars. their just boring, you cant do anything with them but drive normally. i read in an article some where that scientists made a car get over 100 miles per gallon. i bet that car goes really really slow, which is dumb. i’d like to own a car thats fast and sounds and looks really cool. like a mazda rx-8 or honda s2000 or a m3. dont care if their gas guzzlers, gas prices are down any ways for now

the dumb radio commercial

when im listerning to the radio i sometimes hear this really dumb commercial. usually a couple times. earlier i heard it more and more and i always turned it off, the guy has a really annoying voice. its kinda mono tone and sometimes goes up and down with his voice, which is really annoying. his futile talking probably doesnt get him antwhere. its a jewlry commecrial i believe. i doubt anybody buys anything from that store.

007

007 was cool movie, the new one thats in theatures. but i think it could’ve been better. i wished it had more car chasing stuff. like with his austin martin. he also needs tojog more because i think he kind of took a while catching up to that guy in the begining. the guy that plays james bond is an excellent actor, he has all the characteristics of the old james bond. i didnt get the title, it doesnt really make sense to me. somebody only said quantum once in it. doesnt really have anyhting to do with the title.

the campaign

this campangh was a close one. but the one in two thousand four was closer. obama and mcain head to head but obama slowly beating him. majority of the people like the older ones voted for mcain. the more young people voted for obama. escpecialy blacks, obama won the west and east coasts, both heavily populated and lots of electoral votes.we have a test today in us
